This sounds so goood, I want to read it. Mother-daughter relationships are incredibly complicated, and more so at those pivotal moments such as graduations and nest leaving.

Well said, indeed. It’s something I have thought about, the adults who don’t act appropriately during/after a divorce may well be acting out of pain they experienced as a child. But, I always wonder, shouldn’t they know better than anyone how instability and confusion and inconsistency can really screw up a kid?

I’ll have to check out FALLING UNDER. That’s for such a thoughtful post.

It often pains me to see how some of my children’s classmates act and very often they are children of divorce. I hope their lives get better when they are adults.

What an insightful guest post! This is exactly why I’m so glad that TDW is back! Larramie you bring us such a wide variety and interesting cast of characters.

I enjoyed Daniel’s explanation about the differences between screenplays and novels. And the follow up with an excerpt really brings the point home.

What a great story. I have never attempted screenwriting and like any writer who writes in a number of different genres, it’s fascinating.
