Holiday Greetings!

[During this Season of giving and sharing, The Divining Wand's readers would like to thank their authors/friends for this past year and wish them Holiday Greetings. The next few weeks will feature universal as well as personal nods to writers who share with us throughout the year. Happy Holidays!]
I’ve spent some time reading up on your story and it is such an inspiration to anyone who has ever found their work to be ignored by the “traditional” publishing houses. I haven’t had the opportunity to read your book yet, but one of the things that I love about the Christmas season is that I am able to spend more time than usual reading. There’s just something wonderful about being able to curl up with a good book next to a twinkling Christmas tree! I’m looking forward to it and “A Scattered Life” will be among my holiday reads. I’m looking forward to reading “Easily Amused” as well. Happy Holidays to you, your husband, and your three almost-grown children!
Dear Tanya,
This holiday season, I think I shall buy you a love of reading… Just kidding! But I would like to thank you for writing such an original story. I really admire that you didn’t pull any punches (like with Hunter’s addiction issues).
Here’s a little virtual gift. Cheesy, I know.
Warm holiday wishes to you and yours!

Jonita Fex–I wish you could see how big my smile is right now! What a thrill to be doing my usual blog run and come across your message. You’re very welcome for the inspiration, although I don’t feel like I’ve done anything out of the ordinary. By definition, writers are a tenacious, creative bunch, and my story is just one example of that. I’m happy that there are more opportunities for writers than ever before.
I love the image of you curled up with a good book next to a twinkling Christmas tree. If the book is one of mine, I hope that you enjoy it.
Warmest holiday wishes,
Karen
1Karen,
Thanks for your thoughtful message! I’m off of work starting tomorrow (yay!) and plan to spend lots of time with my family and with my books! “A Scattered Life” will certainly be among those books I choose.
Merry Christmas!
2Dear Kristan,
Thank you for your kind holiday greeting! I’m so glad you enjoyed HTBALOR and that you appreciated my letting Hunter get “ugly” (which wasn’t very easy for me to do). I apologize that it’s taken me a few days to respond here. I’ve mostly been offline for the last few weeks, as the holiday season is a big deal in my family, complete with tons of decorating, crafts, and cookies. And cheese! We love cheese, so thank you for the virtual present!
All my best,
Tanya Egan Gibson
